Biography

President

Steve has been a teacher in the Broward County School System for 19 years. In the Fall of 2007, he will be proud to call Plantation High School his new home, where he will head-up the Drama department. Steve taught musical theatre and chorus at Parkway Middle School for the Performing Arts for the last ten years. Previously, Steve began his teaching career as Band Director at Hallandale High School. He has enjoyed being on stage all over South Florida as well as being musical director and director, having appeared in shows such as Once Upon a
Mattress; Man of LaMancha
(with the Main Street Players); Guys and Dolls in Concert; Carousel; Fiddler on the Roof; The Music Man (with PPTOPA); My One and Only; The King and I; You're a Good Man Charlie Brown; Anything Goes; Bye Bye Birdie and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He was the musical director for The Pajama Game, Fiddler on the Roof,
Oklahoma, The Music Man,
and Hello Dolly, and has directed Two by Two and Oliver!. Steve was proud to take his second trip on the ark when he directed Two By Two in the spring of 2006, and is honored to direct the first show of the BOB's 2007-2008 season, Oklahoma! Steve is honored to serve as President of Broward on Broadway.
