Meryl is a founding and current board member of Broward on Broadway. She serves as the group's Executive secretary as well as the Business Manager. Among her other duties she also is in charge of ticket sales and playbill production. Meryl has learned to run the light and sound boards and most recently ran sound for Man of La Mancha as well as stage managing Grease. When not working the business or technical end of the show, Meryl can be seen on stage. She was most recently seen in Pajama Game. Other credits include Bye Bye Birdie (Mrs. Merkle), Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Helena), Mame (Sally Cato), Jerry's Girls, and Oliver! (Rose Seller), Fiddler (Bottle Dancer), Annie (Connie Boylan), How to Succeed, Hello Dolly, and The Music Man. She has been teaching Spanish at Plantation High School for 22 years.
