Lori Berger Biography Board Member

Lori is a founding member and board member of Broward on Broadway. She is proud to say she started in the theater some 40 years ago, back in Bay City, Michigan with her local community theater groups, the Bay City Players and the Saginaw, Pit & Balcony Theater, two of the oldest and most respected theater groups in Michigan. She eventually moved to Chicago, where she performed with the St. Sebastian Players in Chicago, Illinois. She has now settled here in South Florida where she has performed in many theaters including The Little Theater of Oakland Park, Pompano Players, Opus Theater, The Township Center, and PPTOPA where she recently appeared in The Music Man as Mrs. Paroo. For BOB, Lori has appeared in many productions. Her most favorite roles include: General Mathilda B. Carwright in Guys and Dolls In Concert, Morgan LeFey in Camelot, Vera Charles in Mame, Mrs. Sowerberry in Oliver!, Smitty in How to Succeed... and Aunt Abby in Arsenic and Old Lace. She also performed in Jerry's Girls. Lori also enjoys working in front of the stage and has directed for BOB as well! She made her directorial debut with BOB with You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, she then directed Bye Bye Birdie in our 2005 – 2006 season and last year she was the director for our third show of BOB's 2006-2007 season, The Pajama Game.
