Gordon
was thrilled to have directed Broward on Broadway's production of Camelot
in the 2005-2006 season, as well as the previous season's Guys and
Dolls in Concert. He has also directed Arsenic and Old Lace
and The Odd Couple. He has appeared here in How to Succeed
in Business Without Really
Trying (Mr. Bratt), Oliver! (Mr. Bumble), and Oklahoma!
(Andrew Carnes), to name a few. Gordon is a founding member of BOB and
a current board member. Other local credits include Charlie in The
Pajama Game, the Doctor in Baby and Mr. DePinna in You
Can't Take It With You at the Ft. Lauderdale Players, and the Rabbi
in the Township Players' production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Gordon hails from Bay City, Michigan, where he was an air personality
for eight years at radio station WBCM. Directing credits there include
Godspell and The Music Man. Acting credits include
Moonface Martin in Anything Goes, Horace Vandergelder in Hello
Dolly and Dr. Zubritsky in Fools. Film acting credits:
industrial films for General Motors and Dow Chemical as well as
many local TV commercials. Gordon appeared this past summer in PPTOPA's
production of The Odd Couple, and will direct BOB's final show
of the upcoming season, How to Succeed in Business Without Really
Trying.
