ARTICLE XI - CASTING
A. All casting shall be open.
B. The director:
1. Ensures the quality of performance and technical aspects of the respective show
2. Appoints and supervises the following positions:
a. assistant director
b. stage manager
c. choreographer
d. costume designer
e. stage designer
f. lighting designer
g. property supervisor
h. technical crew
i. music director
j. casting team
3. Is ultimately responsible for the casting of the show
4. Will meet with the Technical Director, Business Manager, Production Manager and Treasurer prior to submission of budget to discuss production requirements.
5. Will present, post-production, a final evaluation of the process to the Board
6. Will have the authority to make ALL final decisions.

ARTICLE XII - ADVANCE NOTICE
Personal, E-mail or telephone contact 48 hours prior to the meeting shall constitute advance notice of changes of scheduled meetings or the need for an emergency meeting.

ARTICLE XII - ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The Treasurer in consult with the President shall arrange for an annual financial statement of BOB’s financial accounts by a CPA at the end of the fiscal year. The fiscal year for BOB shall be from July 1st through June 30th.

ARTICLE XIV – PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY
All matters of procedure shall be according to Roberts Rules of Order.

ARTICLE XV - AMENDMENTS
Amendments to these by laws may be made by the membership at any time during the year by submitting a written proposal to the Executive Board. Said proposal will be reviewed by the Executive Board. If the Executive Board determines that the proposal has merit, it will be presented to the full Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting.

ARTICLE XVI - STANDING RULES
The membership may adopt Standing Rules to govern the operation of BOB, provided they are not contrary to the bylaws, at any regular meeting by a majority of the votes cast.
