Barret credits Broward on Broadway for playing a major role in his recovery from an auto accident in 2002. He has performed with BOB in Once Upon a Mattress, Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver!, and Mame, in which he undertook the challenging role of Mr. Babcock. For the past 12 years, Barret has been singing bass/baritone for the Temple Beth Emet Choir in Cooper City. Offstage, he is on BOB's Board of Directors.
